Requirements

• Manage the employees within the Claims Department, including monitoring and tracking productivity and time keeping
• Ensure the team is meeting department and individual KPI's 
• Manage claim submissions, along with tasks, edits, and rejections 
• Collaborate with other departments in order to resolve any problems causing delays in claims submissions 

Education Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• Minimum 3 years experience in field preferred 
• Familiarity with working electronic loops and segments 
• Familiarity with the most common payer rejections
• Regular use of clearinghouses 
• Experience submitting paper and electronic claims 
• Knowledge of commonly used insurance billing concepts

Work Environment

• Office setting- This is an onsite position 
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality polices (both medical and financial)

Physical Demands

• Uses telephone, computer, fax, copier equipment
• Ability to work in moderately noisy environment with frequent interruptions 
• Ability to remain seated for majority of day in a cubicle setting with general office lighting 
• Ability to perform other job duties upon request
